Nightmare again and again

I had a nightmare again last night and the night before.

Friday night, I dreamed sth. that I stepped onto a wooden portch, and suddenly, there was someone else stepping onto the porch right behind me.

Last night, there was something like a bar. There was a glass booth in the center of the bar. Several people were inside, girls were giving guys blowjobs. And I was covered in a blanket, and there was a ghost in white floating around the house, and out of no where, she stopped, in front of me, and started to stare at me. That frightened the crap out of me. I firmly believe that I screamed and then woke up. It was 4 o'clock in the morning. I couldn't go back to sleep after that. Frightened!

Here I am in a mister donut in a country side of Japan. There was a short blackout just then, maybe caused by the thunder storm. Frankly speak, I like the black out. It was not so bright, which can cause your eyes feeling dizzy. And the damn Hawaiin music shuts up during the black out. It was quiet and good for thinking and cleasning your thoughts. The rain outside is going wide.

I was on the verge of writing something for the past several days. But I was mainly held by "Sex and the city", and chatting with my wife over the net.

Are we happy?
When I took the training ride back home from the half day trip to Enoshima and Kamakura, I was reading everybody's facial expressions. Actually it was damn quiet in the car, with nobody talking, everybody was busy doing something of their own, reading pocket books, listening to iPod, taking a nap, or just busy staring outside the window. Even lovers going home together were not talking to each other. It was 8 on a Friday night, it seems that Japanese don't even have anything to share with their partners even after a week-long work. It was some damn quiet that you can mistake that you are in an empty car. It's really hard for you to find any marry face on the train, the only red marry face to find out is a drunk old man in his gray biz suit. Are you happy with the life you are living now? If not, then just live the way you want. But make sure that you will not die penny-less and alone. That's even more pathetic than just living some life you are not 100% content with.

The Ice braker.
Encounter in public is something interesting, especially for those in a forgein country and speak the same mothertone. It's always nice to meet someone strange on the train and chat desperately for awhile an than let him/her leave. It feels good that you have someone to talk to, that listens to your maybe some compliant. But it is always hard for someone to break the ice first. There was this casually dressed man, long hair, delibrately cut mustache. He turned off his iPod, put it back to his backpack, and then took the backpack off the self, leaned over to the oldman, and softly whispered, "Excuse me, you speak English Right?", and then everything just keep flowing out. In public, most of the people are willing to have an encounter, the problem is who is willing to break the ice first?

I went back home for lunch, it took the longest to reach home since the train is stopped because the thunder hit the electric line. The blackout we had during the day seems to have more side effects. It won't be a lucky days for guys travelling between Hadano and Odawara. They have to wait till 13:00 for the train to come back into operation. I was lucky that I stopped at Hadano during the morning.

Nightmare

I had a really horrifying dream last night.
I killed a girl, cut off her arms, ate them and hide the remaining of her body in the bush. I went there several times during mid night, dig the corpse out, ate it and put it back. (Pretty much the same as eating the FULAIDO CHIKEN that I bought the other day.) The remain was discovered by a blind old man. When I got off work, there were police cars parking around the hiding place. The Japanese police started to investigate. Police patrols were everywhere in the street trying to hunt down the murder. There were blood on the playground, neighbors reporting abnormal people to the police officer. I was hiding in the dark, trying not to be discovered. My biggest fear was the cell phone. Tracing the email and call records, the police can easily spot me. But why it did not happen.
I woke up 11:30 in the morning, couldn't feel anything below my knees...

iPod and the homemade couch

My black 30G iPod video together with the new Panasonic ear phone finally got shipped in yesterday afternoon. After a month internet shopping and 5 days' waiting, it's the last good thing that I can have. Still trying to get used to the click wheel interface. But I think that's a pretty brilliant idea. All the play, forward, backward keys are replaced by just a sleeky simple round click wheel.

Well, gave myself a little break during the weekends. Last night we played several rounds of tennis. And this morning, I made myself a simply sofa which is just a new combination of my bed. It can be called my cotton transformer. Sitting on it in the corner of the room and writing this blog post on my laptop is just a nice feeling.

Hit the local supermarket just now. The new supermarket, named Food One, closes insanely early during the night, around 21:00. That when I'm still crouching in my cubicle during the weekdays. Fired Chicken was my main target, alongside with soda, milk, orange juice and vegis. Forget about obesity, life is just so damn short.

Lost of words

I just can't figure out why other people have so many things to talk about. I can't even strike out a conversation with my OJT during a ride down in the elevator. I started to jog during the night, I thought I've been thinking of talking about this here like a week ago. And after the 3 miles running, I'll sit down to have a pack of the smelly bean and a peice of galic. That's the most smelly moment of the day. Recently kicking my ass off doing something crazy and having all the coding fun. I was interrupted by an email titled "Leaving Guidence", I was there, stopped for 3 minutes there, trying to pick up where I left in the code. I was trying to presaude myself into accepting the fact that I've spent most of the time here. And I got to prepare myself for the mass that I've left behind.

Some of the Working logs this week.

Pasting some of the working log that I've jot down using google note book, which BTW is a really nice product. Since you can pick up where you left off at work right after getting back home.

Another thing that I've found weired is that there are only logs for the morning, what for hell did I do in the afternoon and during the night?

Well, the hard time is gonna arrive. Job Hunting, Paper, and unfortunately another 3 credits to get.

Wanna crank out another paper before heading home. I really wanna accomplish this project of general interest, seriously, I'm not doing it only on impulse.

Finally getting back on track and hopped on the 9:03 train with two other not-late birds. The train, a mirror of the Japanese society, is filled with people from all walks of life:A young girl putting on heavy make-ups, a man wearing a part of slippers and clipping his hair with a girly clip, A well-dressed bizman wearing a black suit and tie even in a 32C temperature, and a line of old lady in their mountain climbing gear.

9:56 Get down to work
11:00 A brief talk with OJT, some new job assigned.
13:48 Finished a demo of the office plug in.
